Nintendo’s Christmas sweaters could be uglier

They’re not that bad!

It’s not ugly sweater season just yet, but Nintendo is ready for the holidays.

A retailer named Geek Store has begun selling three official Nintendo Christmas sweaters: one for Mario, Luigi, and Bowser; one for Princess Peach; and one for Pikachu and friends. They’re $40 a pop.

Would I pay for any of these? Well, no but they’re kinda fun to look at.

There’s a certain appeal to heinously off-brand ugly sweaters, but if you’re wanting to go with the real thing this year, well, that’s the lineup. When it comes to bundling up, I’ve always been more of a knitted beanie sorta guy. Nintendo’s got us covered there too if you’re partial to The Legend of Zelda.
