Nintendo DSi price drop: DSi $99, DSi XL $129

There’s some new pricing for Nintendo’s older handhelds. Starting May 20, the DSi XL will retail for $129.99, and it’s smaller screened little brother, the standard DSi, will go for $99.99. Both will still be packed with Flipnote Studio, and the XL will still come with pre-installed copies of the two Brain Age games.

This drop falls right in line with Nintendo’s moves in recent years. They slowly back down the price of the older system to bring a more attractive price point that seems to be aimed right at younger gamers.

I miss my fat ass XL system and its big ol’ screen. $129 is almost low enough to have me going out to get another.
