Nintendo continues to dominate that Japan place over there, whatever it is

If you live in Japan, chances are you eat a lot of sushi, drink a lot of sake, and play a helluva lot of Nintendo DS and Wii games. According to the latest sales numbers, Nintendo is just printing Yen by the boatloads. Take a look at the chart:

  1. Gyakuten Saiban 4 (Phoenix Wright) (Capcom, DS) – 250,186 (New)
  2. Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis (Nintendo, DS) – 92,017 (New)
  3. Wii Sports (Nintendo, Wii) – 41,035 (1,356,966)
  4. Yoshi’s Island DS (Nintendo, DS) – 40,974 (670,432)
  5. Wii Play (Nintendo, Wii) – 28,394 (1,147,811)
  6. Prof. Layton and the Mysterious Village (Level 5, DS) – 25,548 (417,682)
  7. More English Training (Nintendo, DS) – 25,264 (109,909)
  8. Musou Orochi (Koei, PS2) – 23,067 (538,869)
  9. Pro Yakyuu Spirits 4 (baseball) (Konami, PS2) – 19,816 (101,868)
  10. Watashi no Relaxuma (Rocket Co, DS) – 18,734 (New)

Is the fact that Wii Sports and Wii Play are the only two Wii titles in the top 10 a concern or red flag to anyone else?
