New to Steam for Mac: Half-Life 2, EVE Online: Tyrannis

Recommended Videos

This is another big week for the still-shiny Steam Mac client, as it’s getting what are undeniably essential games in many of our eyes: Half-Life 2 ($6.99), Episode One ($5.59), Episode Two ($5.59), and EVE Online: Tyrannis. At the time of writing, only those first three were up for purchase.

In typical Steam fashion, the Half-Life 2 titles are all 30 percent off, make use of cross-platform saving, and if you happen to own them for PC already, you won’t need to fork over the cash a second time — they are a part of “Steam Play.”

Lastly, HL2 and Episode One were given new achievements on all platforms. As for EVE Online: Tyrannis, the massive nature of these titles frightens me. Maybe by the time this post goes live, everything will be sorted out and this expansion will be on Steam. These things take time!
