You may remember Anthony Carboni from that one episode of Sup Holmes that was so great. Well guess what? He returned the favor by having me on his show. It’s a videogame review show. I love it.
Anthony reviewed Bloodforge, the game that is in fact NOT about forging something out of blood. Weird, right? Actually, a friend of mine had this crazy idea that the game was going to be about a guy who gets cloned, and his clone then forges checks in the guy’s name that the guy can’t cash because he doesn’t have enough money. It’s a real problem when you’re clone writes checks that your body’s bank account can’t cash.
You’d think that with a name like Bloodforge that the clone would be writing these checks in blood, but he’s not. It’s the blood IN HIS HAND that constitutes the name Bloodforge, as the blood contained in the clone’s body is a “forgery” of the original guy’s DNA. On top of that, you have to keep in mind that he’s using that blood to power a hand that writes the forged checks. So it’s sort of like two bloodforge(ries) for the price of one!
As dumb as that may sound, it’s still not quite as dumb as the real Bloodforge experience. Watch me and Anthony talk about it. I’ve got a tie now!
