Here’s the some news related to those Cave Story hints I dropped earlier in the week. First off, Cave Story is coming to DSiWare. There will be at least one new feature, maybe more. To quote Tyrone Rodriguez — “it’s really awesome and has Pixel’s blessing; he recently played it a few weeks back and loved it.” More info to come, if and when I’m allowed to give it to you.
Second, Cave Story on WiiWare is finally coming to Europe. The PAL build is done, and is currently in the testing phase. Again, more to come if and when I can.
Third, the art above is new stuff. It comes from Orioto, as commissioned by Nicalis. The full size version awaits you in the gallery.
