Nerdgasm: Koei’s Romance of the Three Kingdoms on iPad

Recommended Videos

I’m big enough of a nerd to feel comfortable telling you that Koei’s older historical simulation/strategy games are some of my favorite games ever. Two that will always sit high on my list of beloved games are Genghis Khan and Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It’s been forever since I’ve even thought about these games, though. But now I’m ready to jump back into ancient China…on my iPad.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms is coming to the iPad with new graphics and a totally new touch interface. Doing things like playing through over 200 characters and changing officer abilities may sound boring to you, and I totally get that. These games aren’t for everybody, and that makes me wonder about the $15.99 price tag for the game.

Me? I’m excited about watching a tables of increasing/decreasing numbers. I’m ready to jump into thrilling affairs negotiations. I’m pumped about poking around on a map. I’m…I’m kind of talking myself out of this!

No, Koei. You’ve got me. You’ve got at least one sale. Probably.
