Series reboots seem to be all the rage in not only Hollywood, but in the games industry as well. Case in point, Dead to Rights is making a comeback in Q4 of this year, according to the March issue of PlayStation: The Official Magazine.
The game, which is neither a sequel or a prequel, but “a new beginning,” is being worked on by Reservoir Dogs developer Volatile Games for release on the PlayStation 3 (duh) and reportedly on the Xbox 360 too.
Details are somewhat slim, but we do know that Jack Slate will return as the game’s protagonist, hand-to-hand combat will be more involved this time around, and yes, you’ll once again have a dog fighting by your side.
Personally, I need to see some footage or at the very least screenshots before I can judge the game. Of all the series to be carried over to this generation, we get Dead to Rights. How random.
