Relationships are built on trust and communication. We’re not so sure if all of BioWare and Mythic Entertainment were able to get to know each other before Electronic Arts merged them, but we do know now that they’re talking and it won’t just be timid conversation: Mythic will be giving input on Star Wars: The Old Republic. Go, go, MMO!
Speaking with Eurogamer, BioWare confirmed that they would be, “without a doubt,” receiving help from Mythic Entertainment in regards to SW: TOR.
“I think we always have lots of opinions to share, Ray and I,” said creative officer Dr. Greg Zeschuk “We’ve both played Warhammer, and actually I’ve still been playing it on and off for a while, so I think for us it’s not to much a popularity boost as just the fact that we can probably bring perspectives to the table that will be new and perhaps helpful to the guys from Mythic in the same way from an online perspective they can certainly share with us.”
Sounds cute, right? Zeschuk went on to say that the Austin studio responsible for SW: TOR was a capable group, but they’re open to conversation. He also used the word “neophyte,” which we’re pretty sure has something to do with a downloadable puzzle game or something.
