The first of wave new DLC, announced earlier this month as part of Nintendo Direct, launches today on Pokkén Tournament DX for Nintendo Switch.

Aegislash is a technical, stance-based fighter who can adjust their strategy on the fly, switching between Blade Form when on the attack and Shield Form when it’s time to retreat and regroup. A short trailer, released by The Pokémon Company, showcases the new fighter’s incredible range.

Aegislash isn’t coming alone, bringing two new support Pokémon to the roster, Mega Rayquaza and the infectiously-lovable Mimikyu. Wave Two of the DLC will feature Pokémon OG Blastoise, accompanied by new support characters Mew and Celebi. The latter trio are expected to arrive on March 23.

Pokkén Tournament DX is available now on Nintendo Switch.
