Mortal Kombat Legacy episode 2 still slow going

Recommended Videos

The second episode of Mortal Kombat: Legacy has been released and you can view it right here. It’s a continuation of the events which took place in the first episode, with quite a bit of recapping at the outset for what has been a largely uneventful show so far. And then still not much happens.

Have you ever started a fire using friction? When you’re rubbing the sticks together, there’s a magical moment between the anticipation of succeeding in the task and the point at which you say, “screw it,” and reach for the kerosene. Time stops ever so briefly while you mentally weigh the value of what you’re doing and think about all the other things you could be accomplishing instead.

That’s how I feel watching this episode. Obvious conclusions are being dragged out like Kano being rescued by his goons and I’m about to grab a lighter. The frequent use of slow-motion probably isn’t helping either. Let’s move it along, Tancharoen.
