More of Interplay’s greatest coming to GameTap

GameTap announced today that it will be expanding its library with more classic Interplay games this summer. Here’s the official lowdown on the matter:

As part of this expansive agreement, GameTap will now feature additional Interplay titles, including the critically acclaimed Fallout, Descent and MDK. New and previously featured titles, such as the Earthworm Jim series, will be added to the subscription service, GameTap’s ad-supported website, and also sold in GameTap’s online digital retail storefront.

This is the part where I tell you all about how I cancelled my subscription to GameTap not even a week ago, and begin kicking myself for doing so.

Then again, the press release does say that these new Interplay titles will be playable for free on GameTap’s Web site, so I suppose it’s not really bad news for me and everyone else who isn’t subscribed to the service.
