And there’s a new anti-aliasing option
Right on cue, Capcom has released a High-Resolution Texture Pack for Monster Hunter: World on PC. It’s a separate download on Steam, and it’s free, so as long as you have the right hardware, it’s that simple.
Here’s a comparison of the game running with and without the high-res textures:

Even if your system isn’t up to the task, you don’t have to feel totally left out. Today’s Monster Hunter: World update also fixes bugs and includes features like “TAA+FXAA” in the anti-aliasing graphics settings, a meter in the menu to show how much PC VRAM you’re using with your current settings, another mouse control type, and a “Friends Can Join” toggle for private multiplayer sessions.
