The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom, 2K’s Gorey-inspired, pie-thieving platforming puzzle game has done pretty well for itself, I’d say. It’s one of the best downloadable titles I’ve played so far this year and more gamers should be exposed to it if at all possible.
It is possible, and 2K is making it happen with the announcement that Winterbottom will be appearing on Steam April 20th. That’s just two weeks until PC users who haven’t had the opportunity to be enchanted by the greedy gentleman’s quest for the most powerful pie in creation can revel in it’s delights.
This is great news for PC gamers. You really owe it to yourself to try this game out when it releases. A press release follows.

Created by The Odd Gentlemen, The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom was originally released for Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. The Windows PC version is being developed by 2K China. The game will be available exclusively on Steam and comes with many new appetizing ingredients, including expanded leaderboard options, new unlockable Steam achievements, five additional brain-teasing puzzles and Steam Cloud, which allows players to take the game with them on the road by accessing saved games from the Steam network.
