Mirror’s Edge to get DLC, PS3 lead platform

Recommended Videos

In yet more news that will make Sony fans feel all warm and cherished, it has been revealed that EA’s highly anticipated Mirror’s Edge will be using the PlayStation 3 as its lead development platform. The news comes from the latest issue of OPM, which reveals that the Black Box o’ Blu-Ray is development team DICE’s platform of choice.

In the article, the team also talks Trophy support and reveals that Mirror’s Edge is slated to have some downloadable content heading its way. The game’s Trophies are planned to be ported over as Achievements for the Xbox 360 version, which smacks of a most delicious irony, and there doesn’t seem to be much more info on the DLC side of things as DICE will talk about it at a later date.

At least some developers aren’t intimidated by the arcane magicks inside the PS3.
