Yep, good move Microsoft

So, looks like securing Minecraft on Xbox platforms was a really smart move for Microsoft, as the game has now sold over twenty million copies across the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The game released three years ago on the Xbox 360 as a console exclusive, with the Xbox One version launching September 2014.

To celebrate this milestone and the game’s three year anniversary on Xbox 360, Microsoft is giving a number of pieces of DLC away for free until May 17 for Xbox 360 and Xbox One players. The free DLC includes the 1st Birthday Skin Pack, 2nd Birthday Skin Pack and the new 3rd Birthday Skin Pack which is modeled on developers from Mojang.

So, Minecraft is pretty popular. Who would have guessed?
