Coming to Pocket and Windows 10

Microsoft has announced that the Minecraft Realms service is coming to additional platforms — specifically Pocket and Windows 10 Edition. No longer a PC exclusive, this service basically allows people to play Minecraft together by way of a private server that can be manipulated. Think of it as a fancy marketing term for renting your own dedicated server.

As of today Android users can access the Alpha at this link, which is currently free. Pricing details and release window information comes later.
