Microsoft: PlayStation Home is a ‘nice chat room’

Making fun of PlayStation Home at this point is like steadily kicking an autistic in the bollocks, but that hasn’t stopped Microsoft from doing it anyway. Stephen McGill has written the poor man’s Second Life off as a “nice chat room” with nothing else of worth.

“It’s a nice chat room I guess, not an awful lot more,” says UK marketing manager Stephen McGill. “That’s not something that we’re looking at. I’m not sure what their learnings are from the Home experience.”

Sounds about right. I’m still yet to work out what anybody sees in PlayStation Home. Aside from just another place to stalk children, as if we needed more of those.
