Microsoft is changing the look of Xbox One again

Xbox Insiders can test it today

For better or worse, it seems Microsoft will never stop fiddling with the Xbox One’s user interface.

The latest refresh goes live later today for Xbox Insiders, ahead of its full launch this fall. Users will be able to customize their Home screens, and Microsoft says it has “eliminated the wait between Home, Social, and My Games and Apps by consolidating them into one dashboard experience.”

There’s a wordy blog post about the particulars, but I think your best bet is to see this stuff in motion.

“Updates to Home, Guide and Community are available today [for Insiders], with updates to Avatars, Game Hubs, Profiles and more coming this fall,” according to Microsoft.

I’m not sure how I feel about the layout, but if it’s faster and smoother, that’s good enough for me.
