Mega Man film is out, is awesome in its own way

The fan-made Mega Man film we have been reporting on for awhile now is finally out! Eddie Lebron’s live-action adaptation of the classic Capcom videogame is done, and it’s now on ScrewAttack for your viewing pleasure.

You’ll have to set aside 90 minutes to watch it all. I’ve been watching it this morning while working and I have to say that it’s not half bad. The audio is mostly impressive. The CG isn’t quite “Hollywood,” but it gets the job done, and looks really nice in some scenes. I love Wily, though. He’s amazing. There is some awkward I’m in the frame but I don’t know what to do here scenes, but judging a fan film against a Hollywood flick is silly. Only as*holes do that.

The work I’ve seen so far shows that this is a labor of love, and so I tip my hat to Mr. Lebron and his cast and crew.
