It’s tricky
Atlas Reactor is a tactical multiplayer game about predicting your opponents’ moves.
The twist is that although combat is turn-based, everyone’s “turns” play out simultaneously (albeit across distinct phases: prep, dash, blast, and move). It’s tough to convey how the system works in practice unless you have visual examples. Even then, it can be hazy.
This latest video sets up several what-if scenarios to help get the point across.
“I know he’s going to dodge, but what if he knows I know he’s going to dodge? What then?”
I’m going to be so far in my own head that I’ll lose, guaranteed.
