What does Facebook need? More football. And EA is set to bring it to the social networking platform in the form of the venerable Madden franchise. But don’t expect a “core” experience — it appears as though this could be Madden for babies.
Speaking with Bloomberg Television, EA Sports president Peter Moore revealed the move. “We have to make Madden more accessible,” he said. “You’ll see us on Facebook going forward.”
No other details were given about Madden on Facebook or its model, but we’re guessing this is just part of a larger plan of EA’s to put their products on the super popular platform in a baby-friendly format. Neat. I can’t wait to receive a billion messages a day about who did what with what dude.
