Mad Tracks on XBLA this Wednesday

Mad Tracks will be this week’s one and only Xbox Live Arcade release. As the title of the game suggests, it is a racing game — more specifically, a “3D racing party game.” If Mad Tracks sounds like your cup of tea, you’re going to need 800 Microsoft Points for its debut this Wednesday.

Some game features include:

*15 distinct challenges (6 races & 9 mini-games) provide a full-fledged racing game experience

*2 stackable power-ups (rockets, freezer, oil drop, EMP and more!)

*12 sleek looking cars to choose from

*4 player multiplayer over Xbox LIVE and 4 player local multiplayer via split screen mode

*Championship mode & Arcade mode

*2 free gamer pictures

*Earn up to 12 Achievements and 200 Gamerscore points

Two expansion packs (350 MP each) are also slated for release in the near-future. Each pack will offer an additional 15 races and mini games. The potential for Mad Tracks to be another fun Mario Kart style game is there, let’s just hope it delivers.
