If you played the Adult Swim game Soul Brother, you’ll want to pay attention, because Superflat Games has another morbid game in the works that’s about a thousand times darker. In fact, whether you played Soul Brother or not, you need to PAY ATTENTION RIGHT NOW.
Lone Survivor is set in a world where mankind is ravaged by a skin-flaying disease. Making sure to eat, sleep and avoid the twisted remnants of mankind, players will have to learn to truly survive and eke out a miserable living. Mind-altering horror is on the cards and players will have to make tough decisions — will they take drugs to keep from going completely insane? Will they eat rotting meat to stay alive? How low will they sink just to keep living?
Submitted for the Indie Games Festival, this horrific little title looks like it could be completely brilliant. I am very excited about where it goes, especially as I really dug Soul Brother. I expect very, very good things.
