When it comes to the best class in Roblox The Veil it largely depends on whether you’re considering PVE or PVP. I’ll rank all classes according to both categories including hybrid combinations and show you how to find and unlock each class. Here’s my The Veil class tier list and guide.

The best classes in The Veil are split across S, A and B-Tier according to your playstyle. I arranged them according to raw power in the tier list but you might get more out of a B-Tier class than an A-Tier if you prefer the playstyle of B and are specced for it. For example, on a Gemhead race and a full summon gear loadout, you might preform better with Sky Sentinel in PVE than some A-Tier classes. That said, the higher-tiers generally have more potential while being more flexibile. Individual class ranking reasons are in the table below and below the table you’ll find how to unlock all classes.

Best Races: Combine this tier list with our The Veil Race Tier List for the best combos.

Class Ranking Notes & How to Unlock

ClassRanking NotesHow to Unlock All Classes

Gladiator
PVE: A-Tier
PVP: A-Tier

• Amazing all around DPS class with a massive damage boost from the aura that’s great in both PVE and PVP
• For PVP Gladiator is a noob-stomper and extremely opressive due to massive damage
• That said I’ll keep it in A-Tier since experienced players can exploit the buggy hitboxes of Gladiator and dodge your combos

Vorax NPC
At Echo Hold sitting on a rock
Requires 30 Sins

Quest Info
For Goblins wait for the Goblin rade at The Glade
Gladiator Locket is from armored skeletons in the Weeping Crypt

Duskwing
PVE: A-Tier
PVP: A-Tier

• Like Gladiator, Duskwing is very reliable for both PVE and PVP
• Amazing mobility like Marauder but then you actually have damage for PVE and the counter is god-tier against bosses
• The counter remains great in PVP and you have the grapple and invincibility which is so powerful in 1v1s
• It’s not S-Tier since the counter and grapple can miss easily if you’re not careful
Asmodeus NPC
At the top of the pillar in
The Lone Pillar area
Spawns only at night
Requires 30 Sins

Quest Info:
Best way to farm 100 mobs
Is in The Cyst with a Nightcall Potion

Crusader
PVE: S-Tier
PVP: B-Tier

• The best PVE class and the best team-based class
• You get free heals for both solo and when playing with others which is incredibly strong for sustained farming and boss fights, especially when in a Hybrid setup with the aura
• You still have that sustain in PVP but it’s much weaker DPS-wise in 1v1s and Bleed destroys you
Elion NPC
Ground level of The Glade
In a church
Requires 30 Offerings

Quest Info:
Farm Wraiths in the Crypt
With a Nightcall Potion

Sky Sentinel
PVE: B-Tier
PVP: A-Tier

• For PVE, if you can get your summons to live with Gemhead race buffs and other effects it can deal great boss damage
• Otherwise, if the boss quickly shuts down your summons it’s not the best so based on that I’m putting it in the middle for PVE
• For PVP, Sky Sentinel is better since the summons can overwhelm players because they can’t burst them down as fast as bosses
Cryus NPC
At the Shimmering Sanctum
Towards the beginning of the maze
Go to the Gemhead NPC and give him a gem
He teleports you to Sky’s Reach/Sky Island
Go to the center floating island
for a checkpoint
Then go to the left island for Cryus
A gemhead with a staff sitting on a rock
Requires 30 Offerings

Quest Info:
Angry Nimbus are at The Glade
During the raining event

Florist
PVE: A-Tier
PVP: C-Tier

• Excellent for PVE due to the aura damage on bosses, great DPS moves and healing which is amazing against bosses and in a team
• Crusader is just a tier above since it has more reliable healing for PVE
• While it’s amazing for PVE, you lose most of your class in PVP since the abilities are focused on PVE too much
• Plus it’s easy to kite out your aura and abilities with mobility skills
Briar NPC
In The Glade on the ground level below the Stylist tending flowers
Requires 30 Offerings

Quest Info:
Hiveling Arm from Zombie enemies
Fire Essence from Cambion/Imp/Devil in the Scorch Basin (Tip: Nightcall Potion)
Cyst Worm from Cyst/Crypt

Cultist
PVE: C-Tier
PVP: S-Tier

• The HP cost is very steep in PVE where you need sustain so it’s not the best boss-killing class
• That said it’s much better in PVP where your C move is a free stun for combos
• This is also the case for the image, it has more value in PVP for pressure and then a stun for combos when the enemy kills it

Cultist NPC
Inside the Weeping Crypt
Go to the back of the area
until you reach a room
with a hole in the wall
Go through and then
Go through another hole in the wall
Behind a bookshelf
Go up the elevator
In the loot room go to the
right corner for another hole in the wall
Requires 30 Sin

Hive Disciple
PVE: C-Tier
PVP: S-Tier

• Hive Disciple isn’t that reliable for PVE since a good portion of enemies are immune to your moves (It’s B for PVE if enemies aren’t immune)
• This isn’t a problem in PVP where HD can dominate with the grab move for combos and damage buff from passive
• The rot is also incredibly opressive against players since there’s not much you can do about it
Hiveling Corpse
At the Cyst in the broken down church
Requires 30 Sin

Quest Info:
The Quest is just about following the marker
For hivelings, farm them at the Cyst with a Nightcall Potion

Marauder
PVE: D-Tier
PVP: B-Tier

• Marauder is very weak for PVE since you lose resistance and its mobility moves don’t help you much against harder bosses
• For PVP it’s much better due to Vanishing Gambit as a free combo starter
• The general mobility is overall much more useful in PVP but since it’s mostly dependent on one move I’m hesitant to go higher than B-Tier
Dash
At Ironkeep
Go to the central building
Go up to the second floor
Go inside the cell
Requires 15 Sin and 15 Offerings

Hybrid
PVE
• Extremely dependent on what you pick but an S-Tier PVE loadout would be the Crusader Aura, Duskwing dash and then either Florist/Gladiator ability for more damage or Crusader ability for more sustain

PVP
• There’s a lot of ability options here for PVP
• Marauder Flashstep or Duskwing Dash is a must
• For Aura go for either Gladiator or Cultist
• For ability go for Duskwing Shadow Grasp, Hive Disciple grab or Maraduer’s Vanishing Gambit
