Suda51. James Gunn. A cheerleader. Zombies. A chainsaw. Sold.
I didn’t need all that much to convince me that Lollipop Chainsaw was a game after my own heart. But after seeing this trailer, I’m completely sold. Lollipop Chainsaw tells the tale of Juliet Starling, a zombie hunting cheerleader who has to fend off an undead outbreak that’s overrun her school. Stupid? Certainly. But as far as I’m concerned, it’s a stupid concept in all of the right ways.
It’s out next year, and it’ll be at PAX in some form or another. I’ll be interested to see if the gameplay holds up to how awesome the premise sounds in my head. Lollipop Chainsaw is out next year for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
