Line, Japan’s largest social network, is getting Splatoon stickers

Even though Line launched some time ago, I first learned about it while visiting Japan last week. Everyone uses it, and advertisements and promotions for it were everywhere — there’s no escaping it. Thankfully the interface is actually pretty sleek, it’s easy to use, and mostly free, unless you want to spring for stickers, which are basically (sometimes animated) emojis.

This week a huge influx of video game related stickers are pouring in, from Splatoon, to Animal Crossing, and even a full-on Dragon Quest theme. A few offerings, the former included, seem to be only available for Japanese users. If you use Line now is the time to log in and check out the offerings. I actually kind of miss having to use it.
