Just like in the Anime/Manga Jujutsu Kaisen, not all characters in Jujutsu Odyssey are the same. Some are strong, others weak, and some are useful only in certain situations, but if there’s one thing we can say for sure, is that Jujutsu Odyssey takes full advantage of this. After you finish the first few quests, you get the opportunity to join a Clan. Of course, some Clans are better than others, and in this Jujutsu Odyssey Tier List, we will tell you which ones we think are worth pursuing.
Tier List
For this list, we’ll only cover the top-ranking Clans. If you don’t see a Clan on this list, it either means it’s not in the game (yet), or we didn’t think it was powerful enough to make it.
S-Tier
Clan / Family | Info |
![]() Gojo | Surprise, surprise; Clan Gojo is currently the most powerful one. This is the ultimate battle Clan offering stronger melee hits (20%), better Domain Expansion, extra Cursed Energy (28%), and the Rhythm Echo Skil, which makes you dodge super effectively. If you get this Clan, you likely won’t need to change it for a very long time. |
![]() Itadori | This is the ultimate leveling/farming Clan. With Itadori, you get extra experience (15%) and a higher chance of getting Cursed Wombs from loot drops. You also get a whopping 40% melee damage boost, which is nothing to sneeze at. |
![]() Zenin | If you rely on your weapon, Zenin is the perfect Clan for you because it gives you 30% weapon proficiency. Add to that a bit more Cursed Energy Output (17%). You also get the Shadow Step technique, which makes you invisible for a bit, which is a lot of fun. |
A-Tier
Clan / Family | Info |
![]() Inumaki | The Inumaki Clan gives you more health (20%) and increases the range of your Cursed Speech. It also lets you use Inumaki Markings, which are a lot of fun. Somewhat situational, but still a great Clan to be in. |
![]() Kamo | If you can’t manage to get into Gojo or Itadori Clans, Kamo is the next best thing. It gives you a significant Melee Damage boost (17%), and a bit of Weapon Damage Proficiency (10%). The Flowing Red Scale awakening can also be quite devastating if used correctly. |
![]() Todo | Yaga gives you a boost on your Cursed Energy output, but it also lets you summon Puppets. Controlling these puppets can be tricky at first, but with enough practice, you can really dominate the battlefield. |
![]() Yaga | Yaga gives you a boost on your Cursed Energy output, but it also lets you summon Puppets. Controling these puppets can be tricky at first, but with enough practice, you can really dominate the battlefield. |
B-Tier
The following Clans only give a stats increase without any extra abilities or other benefits.
Clan / Family | Info |
![]() Ino | 7% Cursed Energy Output, specifically used for enhancing techniques that use it |
![]() Kusakabe | 13% Weapon Proficiency increase. Great for a bit of extra damage. |
![]() Miwa | 15% Defense Boost. Really good to have if you find yourself dying too often. |
![]() Takada | 5% extra experience gained. Great for farming XP until you get into a better Clan. |
![]() Ieiri | 7% Extra Health. Become a bit more tankier. |
![]() Gakuganji | 7% Cursed Energy Output. Better than nothing. |
How to Change Your Clan in Jujutsu Odyssey
If you aren’t happy with the Clan you’ve been given, you can change it by using a Clan Spin item. Unfortunately, these will switch your Clan to a random one, so be prepared to play the gacha. While you can buy Clan Spins using Robux, you can also get them as very rare drops from chests, and even using codes.
That’s all there is to it. If you need a mastery boost or a few Clan Spins, check out our Jujutsu Odyssey codes guide.
