Two massively popular fighting game franchises not named Street Fighter are getting their own lounges in Sony’s Home. According to a recent Famitsu article (picked up by VG247) Soul Calibur and Tekken are to be immortalized with couches and chairs in the Japanese version of Sony’s revolutionary social service.

There aren’t any firm dates or normal indicators that dictate where, when, or even why – but apparently users will be able to buy clothes and furniture to match the spaces. Namco is known for its fairness of price and quality of downloadable content, so we’re set to receive it with open arms if the areas and content make it over the pond.

Right now, Home is sporting Far Cry 2 and Uncharted spaces, designed not only as a place to launch a game, but to provide a social outlet for avid players. While we can’t buy a rusty Far Cry AK47 that jams every 10 seconds quite yet, we can only pray that one is coming soon. Make it happen, Ubisoft.
