Japan gets the Xbox One starting September 4

Microsoft has finally revealed that the Xbox One will be launching in Japan on September 4. No pricing has been announced yet though. A list of all the games and companies that will be backing Microsoft’s latest console was also shared at least.

It’s pretty surprising that Japan will be getting the new console so late in the year. The PlayStation 4 will have a giant foothold in Japan long before September comes around. Then again, the Xbox brand isn’t that strong over in Japan so it wouldn’t have helped them to launch last year like they did in other parts of the world in any case.
