Can you use Gigantic crossplay?

Gearbox Publishing has confirmed Gigantic crossplay will be fully supported in Rampage Edition. Anyone on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC can play together.

“In addition to the original game content, Rampage Edition will introduce new features, including crossplay support, new heroes, new game modes, new maps, upgraded content and gameplay improvements,” says the official press release.

Unfortunately, the game isn’t free to play, so finding friends to check out Gigantic with you will be more difficult than getting them on Fortnite or League of Legends. It retails for $19.99.

The upcoming Closed Beta on February 22 seems exclusive to Steam users. You can sign up for it on the official Steam store listing. Perhaps this Closed Beta would be a good way to test the game out for free before purchasing the MOBA.

Free MOBA games with crossplay

There are multiple free MOBA games with crossplay. Smite is playable on multiple platforms and thankfully supports crossplay as long as you’re logged into your Hi-Rez account. It features cool Gods and entertaining skills to help you demolish your foes in the arena.

An alternate option is Pokemon Unite, which can be played across the Nintendo Switch and mobile versions of the MOBA. It’s a fascinating Pocket Monsters take on the genre as your creatures evolve, take part in energetic action, and improve their abilities.
