Interact with Front Mission Evolved in this fancy trailer

Recommended Videos

Square Enix says that Front Mission Evolved, its action-oriented reimagining of the original turn-based strategy series, will give players a lot of customization options with which to outfit their big stompy “wanzer” mecha.

Unfortunately, some of you didn’t believe it. How could real-time combat possibly offer the same spectrum of weapons and loadout choices?! Well, this fancy new “interactive trailer” is for you. Pick from a range of wanzers and setups, then see how they play out in different mission types and different tactics. It’s like a lot of trailers in one embed!

Oh, and it’s coming for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on September 28th. You can preorder the game to get two exclusive new wanzer frames, the Calm and the Rexon. Which setups did you pick? I liked the zippy little one with a sniper rifle, but I also appreciated the one equipped with what looked like a big metal club, the better to club other robots to death with.
