While we patiently wait for the Final Fantasy VII Remake, Square will be systematically re-releasing every Final Fantasy game they can on whatever platform they can. We may even see an NX remake for XV — I would not put it past them.

For now, you can enjoy Final Fantasy VII on Android. It originally dropped back in 1997, but the classic has seen multiple re-releases, including PC in 1998, an enhanced Steam port in 2013, and PS4 and iOS in 2015.

While basically everything that could be said about VII has been covered already, it really is worth playing through at least once if you’ve somehow avoided it all these years.
