I thought I was done with you: New Mario Kart Wii Tournament now live

Recommended Videos

Sick of Mario Kart Wii already? Today, that may change, at least a few minutes. Nintendo has just gone public with their latest online Mario Kart Wii tournament, accessible to anyone with a Wii, the game, and a wireless internet connection.  This is undoubtedly the most worthwhile online Mario Kart Wii tournament yet (the third in an ongoing series), as it features both a new arena and a Mario Kart DS style boss fight against some Spikey Topmen from Super Mario Galaxy

The whole experience feels remarkably like free downloadable content, something Nintendo seems quite fond of lately. If you want in on the cost-free good-times, you better do so this week, as this tournement and all the exclusive content it offers ends June 9th, 2008. After giving it a whirl a few minutes ago, I can say from first hand experience that this event is worth all the time and effort it took to enter (none and none).
