My holiday travels have been rough at best. Delays, snow, scheduling. Blah. The brightness in this dark time for me has been the upcoming Atlus release Radiant Historia, a new RPG for the Nintendo DS. They sent me preview code not to long ago, and I’m well into the game now, getting in as much as I can whenever I can. This is a good little RPG with a cool time traveling twist. Add in great visuals, killer music from Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts, Parasite Eve) and a nifty battle system and you’ve got a game that has me shrugging off three flight delays in a row. Standby? Who cares! I’m good!
Atlus sent along some new screenshots today. You’ll find them in our gallery below. In them you’ll see the lovely, sprite-y artwork, but you won’t see how you can go back in time to rewrite history — that’s the best part. And you won’t hear the awesome soundtrack, which comes free as a CD in launch copies of the game. For more on both points, look for my full review of Radiant Historia, which will drop some time before the February 2011 release.
