Let’s find out how you can win this boss fight to continue on the journey.

How to defeat Orange and Green in Deltarune

You meet Green and Orange at the Flower Castle. First, they will both appear to be quite harmless. As a matter of fact, Orange is just hungry, and Green is the calm folk who manages the cafés.

The trouble begins as Green feeds Orange after the latter complains that he is hungry. Orange suddenly turns into something powerful, and thus begins your fight with the duo.

You can’t defeat Orange and Green like ordinary enemies. Green can heal the team for max health, so the damage you do doesn’t matter. To defeat them, you’ll have to play some smart tricks.

To win the fight, you’ll have to refrain from the ‘fight’. In simple words, don’t waste your turns in attacks. Instead, raise your team’s TP with the help of Ralsei and Susie.

The key is to use Kris’ GetAlong Act. When you perform the move, Susie will offer food items to Orange. Given that he’s hungry, Orange will accept the food items. However, he will continue to rebel against you.

There’s also a phase when Green pops healing orbs towards Green. Try to prevent the orbs from reaching Orange so that he is unable to mount his special attack. Absorbing the orbs will also heal you from any damage you might have taken during the battle.

Keep repeating the same method of triggering GetAlong whenever possible. There will be a point during the battle when Green will approach you for friendship. Seeing this, Orange will agree to stop the fight.

That’s how you ‘win’ the boss fight, despite no actual way to win the fight. In some ways, it’s very similar to the boss fight that involves Blue and Yellow, where you have to successfully conduct trials.
