This mode is available across all editions, including the Free Access, but it’s a new experience for all. While the basics of combat are typical of Six Siege, the objectives and win conditions differ. For starters, you no longer play in teams of five players. This guide will provide all the key information required to win more battles in the Dual Front mode.

How to win in the Dual Front Mode

As the name suggests, Dual Front forces you to manage two lanes: Offensive and Defensive. The battle takes place between two teams of six players each in Rainbow Six Siege X. The key is to capture more sectors than your opponents while protecting your turf.

  • The Offensive Lane requires you to reach the enemy’s base and plant a Sabotage kit. Defend the kit till it detonates and unlock the second sector. Do the same, and you’ll access the final HQ to sabotage and win.
  • The Defensive Lane is where your opponents will attempt to do the same: plant their kit and defend it as much as possible.
  • The Neutral Zone is where the skirmishes take place. You can clash with your opponents in the zones and handle the side objectives. Death in this mode isn’t permanent; you can enjoy unlimited respawns and change operators if the situation requires such.

Best tips and tricks to master the Dual Front Mode in Rainbow Six Siege X

The nature of the Dual Front mode makes it important to adjust your basics.

  • Instead of camping at one spot, switch frequently between the Offensive and Defensive Lane. This will allow you to keep track of what your opponents are doing.
  • Pick operators who excel in one area. If you want to play a defensive role, go with an operator who excels in that area. It is better to avoid operators who play hybrid roles in typical five-vs-five combat.
  • Don’t overestimate the Neutral Zone. The Neutral Zone has immense tactical importance, but I have found many of my allies and opponents overplaying its importance. Use the Zone smartly to defeat your enemies, but spend more time on Defensive and Offensive Lane.
  • Complete the side quests as much as possible. You’ll get wonderful buffs from them, and these will make it easier to defeat your opponents.

Last but not least, make sure to change your operators. The ability to respawn and change your opponents in the mode is unique and has benefits. Make use of it to outwit your enemies.
