How to use Warzone Rebirth Island’s Weapon Trade Stations

These could come in handy.

For the first time since 2021, Weapon Trade Stations have returned to Warzone‘s Rebirth Island. Don’t worry if you don’t know what they are or what they do, as I’ve put together this guide to explain exactly what they bring to the battle royale.

These Weapon Trade Stations were last seen in Warzone Season 2 Reloaded—and by that, I mean the original Season 2 Reloaded released in 2021. Over three years later, they’ve finally returned as part of Warzone Season 3 Reloaded, and here’s everything you need to know about them.

Warzone‘s Weapon Trade Stations: Explained

If you’re short on loot and are in desperate need of items, then Weapon Trade Stations are your friend! Simply take one of your current guns to it, trade it in, and you’ll receive loot in return, along with a weapon of a lower rarity.

You will lose one of your weapons, but if you’re struggling to find loot, this can be very useful in a pinch.

What can you get from Weapon Trade Stations

When you trade in your gun, you will receive a weapon of a lower rarity, along with loot items that include:

  • Ammo
  • Cash
  • Tactical Grenades
  • Lethal Grenades
  • Field Upgrades
  • Killstreaks
  • Gas Masks

According to the official blog, trading in a powerful weapon can earn the Specialist Perk Package and even better rewards during a Fire Sale.

Should I use Warzone‘s Weapon Trade Station?

Really, this will depend on your situation, but personally, I would only be running to one if I was absolutely desperate. Back in the day, I tended to try my luck if I needed a Gas Mask and the circles were getting smaller, but when it comes to Ammo and Cash, I feel like you can find enough of it lying around to get by.

The only time I think it’s really worth using one is during a Fire Sale, as you are going to get extra rewards which makes it worthwhile. If I had gotten my loadout though, and was using my own gun, I’d try to avoid trading that weapon in at all costs.
