You’re not given any real guidance for this task, and although there are two small hints that guide you in the right direction, it’s still a pretty tough quest to solve. If this one has you stumped, here’s how to use the Pixie Dust to make something fly in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

The object you need to make fly during the Ship of Gold quest is the pirate ship. The name of this quest gives you a big hint as to what needs to be done, but it’s still a pretty tricky task to solve, especially if it’s been a while since you’ve seen Peter Pan.

Near the end of Peter Pan, the main characters apply some Pixie Dust to the massive pirate ship so Wendy and her brothers can get home. You need to do the same here, although your goal is to raise it high enough to use it as a bridge that can help you reach a new area. The ship glows golden once you get the Pixie Dust applied, which is why the quest is called Ship in Gold.

To apply the Pixie Dust to the ship, approach the front middle area that’s accessible using the pier near the entrance to Skull Rock. Walk right up to it and select the interact button to transfer the Pixie Dust. As soon as you do, the ship will soar up into the air so you can use it to access some new parts of Skull Rock.

The only item you can make fly in Skull Rock is the massive pirate ship sitting in the water on the first floor. There’s a small hint that this is what you need to do in the form of a note attached to a pole on the third level, but it’s easy to miss, which makes this a fairly tricky task to get done.

There’s still plenty more to get done if you want to unlock Peter Pan, so be sure to explore everything the Mysteries of Skull Rock update has to offer so you don’t miss out on any of the content it brought to the valley.
