takes an iconic landmark from the films and books and repurposes it for your needs in the game. It allows you to form your own base, customize the chairs, mats, and tables you place inside it, and you can craft potions without anyone staring. In addition, you can practice your magical skills and plant essential resources for powerful potions. There is a lot to love about the Room of Requirement in Hogwarts Legacy, but you’ll have to wait quite a while to gain access to the location. Here’s how to unlock The Room of Requirement in Hogwarts Legacy.

When do you unlock The Room of Requirement in Hogwarts Legacy?

You will not immediately gain access to The Room of Requirement in Hogwarts Legacy, despite how convenient it is. For the first few hours, you’ll have to plod along and instead use the crafting table in the potions classroom rather than have your own. However, once you’ve finished the flying class, you’ll be able to meet Professor Weasley on the seventh floor. This day in the life of your character arrives after heading into the Forbidden Forest and getting inside the Map Chamber for the first time. At first, the protagonist is confused as to why they are set to meet Weasley in an empty corridor, and then The Room of Requirement appears before them. Professor Weasley soon joins the surprised student, and you’ll venture inside. Follow the path laid out by the game, occasionally finding chests along the side paths. After a series of events, you’ll find the elf Deek. The busy and untidy Room of Requirement, after some advice from Deek and Weasley, transitions into a space that is useful to your character. Professor Weasley also shows you the ropes as you conjure objects and then edit them with whatever color or style you’d like.

Where can you find The Room of Requirement?

To find The Room of Requirement, go to the Hogwarts Map and then click on the symbol that looks like the Sun. You can also scroll down to the Secret Rooms tab. Then, select “Room of Requirement” under the list of Floo Flames locations. You’ll be there in a zip. If you want to know the specific area, it’s in the Astronomy Tower within Hogwarts. Like the movies, the once unassuming wall transforms and forms a door in front of you. It’s quite a pretty animation.

What can you do in The Room of Requirement?

You can deck out The Room of Requirement to your liking with both mechanical and cosmetic upgrades and items. Throughout the game, you’ll unlock new spellcraft, which rewards you with all sorts of furniture, decorations, rugs, tables, and more. There are even seasonal decorations like a Christmas Tree and Jack-O-Lanterns you can find in Hogwarts Legacy. You just need to remember that you need to equip the conjuring spell to bring items into existence. You don’t even need the Wingardium Leviosa spell to move things around. If you want to change the entire theme of the room speak to Deek. As previously mentioned, you can also form new potions with your gathered Fluxweed Stems and grow resources like Dittany Leaves. Going to the Room of Requirement is a good way to get stocked up on Wiggenweld potions before you tackle a big quest. It is also recommended to get a new broom during this stage of the game, so you can roam around the world in mid-air.
