There are a series of quests you have to finish before these Star Wars characters are willing to fight at your side. Similar to how Han Solo acts during Han Solo’s story quests, the Mandalorians want you to prove yourself a worthy ally.
How to earn the Mandalorians’ trust in Fortnite
You can earn the Mandalorian’s trust by completing the Mandalorian’s story quests. All Mandalorians you can find around the island have the same set of quests to complete, so it doesn’t matter which one you visit to start them.
The story quests you need to complete for this quest series ask you to visit scout-marked outposts, recover three pieces of intel, and share what you learned with the Mandalorians. These missions aren’t too tricky, especially in comparison to other story tasks like Leia Organa’s story quests, but they do take a bit to get done.

There are four Mandalorian NPCs you can find around the island. They’re all pretty far away from each other, and mostly located near the outer edges, so finding them can be a bit tricky if you don’t know where to look. Here’s where to find each character.
- A Medic Mandalorian can be found west of Outlaw Oasis, hanging around a small shack near the end of the island.
- A Heavy Mandalorian can be found near the eastern end of the island, standing on a cliff overlooking the water south of the First Order Base and north of Shining Span.
- A Scout Mandalorian can be found northeast of Canyon Crossing wandering around near the lake.
- A Supply Mandalorian can be found near the northeast end of Magic Mosses, hanging out around a cliff by the river.

There are also many other quests you can tackle around the island with your new friend at your side, like visiting different outposts, working on your Alignment, and unlocking Force abilities.
