The Far Far North map has to be unlocked in Far Far West if you want to roam its POIs, and to do so, you need to find three different Train Wreck locations. The broken trains are located on the other maps in the game, but they won’t have any markers.
Thankfully, this guide will help you find all of them so that you can unlock the Far Far North map at the earliest.

All Train Wreck locations in Far Far West
There are three Train Wreck locations to discover, spread across the following maps.
- Far West
- Canyon
- Area 41
Far West Train Wreck location
Head to the marked location (the spot with the green logo) in the image above, and you’ll find a train and a Railroad Worker. Speak with him to begin the quest, and then stand in the marked colored rings at the wreck site. The rings periodically change positions, and enemies will appear at fixed intervals.
If you’re playing in a party, one of you should focus solely on the rings and how they move. I completed this solo: just focus on the ring and how it moves. Only move out of the ring when you’ve taken sufficient damage and need to heal.
Canyon Train Wreck location
Head to the marked location on the image above (refer to the orange icon), and you’ll find the Railroad Worker. Speak with him to begin the quest, and then follow the movement of the ring on the ground. Stay in it, eliminate the enemies, and wait for the black box data download to complete.
Area 41 Train Wreck location
The final one is located at the marked spot on the image above. For this step, you’ll need to have the Area 41 map unlocked. You’ll find the Railroad Worker, so interact with him to begin what should be the final step.
Once again, you have to stay within the ring to complete the download process. Once it hits 100%, extract safely to the Saloon. When you begin a mission next time around, you’ll find the Far Far North map available from the list of available options.
