As you journey through the Hercules Realm with Phil and Hercules at your side, you’ll face quite a few different tricky tasks in Disney Dreamlight Valley. One of the tougher ones is solving the Zeus crest puzzle.
This puzzle has to be solved before you can enter the temple, which is the point you’ve been working to reach throughout all the Realm quests up until this point. If you’re struggling to work through it, here’s how to solve Zeus’ crest puzzle in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to realign the Zeus crest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You can solve Zeus’ crest puzzle and properly align the mismatched pieces during the Thunderstruck quest by moving the first lever three times, the second lever two times, and the third lever one time. As long as you haven’t pressed any of the levers yet, stick to the following steps precisely to get it done right.
- Interact with the first lever, which is the one on the left, three times.
- Interact with the second lever, which is the one in the middle, two times.
- Interact with the third lever, which is the one on the right, one time.
If you’re still unsure where to begin, follow the process from start to finish in the video below to successfully get it done. Everyone’s puzzle starts off the same, so this order works as long as you haven’t already turned some pieces.
If you did already move some pieces around, it’s going to be a bit more difficult to sort out the puzzle, but it’s still very doable. The end image you’re trying to achieve is a cloud with a lightning bolt coming out of it, an image that represents Zeus in this Realm.
The cloud needs to be positioned at what’s considered to be the top of the puzzle, which is the section closest to the gate that leads into the temple and Zeus’ Pedestal. The lightning bolt then needs to be shooting down from it, so the other pieces should be aligned to form this bolt beneath it.
The best way to start this puzzle if you’ve moved the pieces around to the wrong spots is by beginning with the outer ring. This piece is controlled by the lever on the right, so focus on that first. Interact with the lever until you get the only golden part of the piece, which is the top of the cloud, next to the pedestal.
Once the top is in place, you can then move to the middle ring, controlled by the lever right in the middle. Focus on lining up the thicker gold portion on this ring, which is part of the cloud, with the top section you already have in the right place.
Then, move on to the final, innermost ring, which can be shifted using the lever on the left. Since the other two pieces are already in the right spot, simply turn this one until it locks into place, and the puzzle is complete.
You can now enter the temple and complete the rest of the Thunderstruck quest. And after that, you’ve still got a bit more work to check off if you want to unlock Hercules and Phil as valley villagers, including the A Godly Mess quest.
