Haunted Floating Festival Basement Door Puzzle #8 walkthrough in Disney Dreamlight Valley
- Complete Release the Curse Haunted Key Puzzle #6 and Haunted Library Puzzle #7. You cannot get started on Basement Door Puzzle #8 until these two missions have been checked off. Working through them grants access to the bedroom in the back of this home, which is where you’ll find the key item for checking off this puzzle.
- Visit the bedroom in the Haunted House. You can find and enter this room by walking through the main room by the entryway, down the hallway, and through the door at the very end of it.
- Equip your Royal Pickaxe and break the lion statue. To the right of the Grimoire, you’ll find a marble lion statue holding a golden key. Use your Royal Pickaxe to break it.
- Pick up the Eerie Basement Door Key. It drops on the ground somewhere nearby when you break the lion statue.
- Exit the Haunted House. You now have the key to unlock the basement, so you need to head outside to find the door.
- Locate the Eerie Basement Door. It’s located on the right side of the Haunted House.
- Open the Eerie Basement Door. Approach and interact with the door to use the Eerie Basement Door Key you found earlier.
- Open the red chest. Walk forward a few feet from where you spawn in to find and open the red chest, which is your prize for completing the puzzle.
