Unlike in The Sims, inZOI lets you manually do all of the tedious tasks your boss throws at you while you’re at work. Is that fun? Not particularly. But is it immersive? Absolutely. Here’s how to restock shelves in inZOI.

How to restock shelves in inZOI

While working at the surf shop in Bliss Bay or the convenience store in Dowon, one of your tasks will require you to restock the shelves once they’re empty. To do this, click on the shelf, choose the option to restock it, and your Zoi will perform the task.

That’s pretty much it! However, it’s worth pointing out that there’s a bug associated with this particular task, and the restock option may not necessarily pop up for you when you need it.

What to do if you can’t restock a shelf

The bug typically kicks in on your first day of work. During your first day, if you’re unable to restock a shelf, there’s nothing you can do. You’ll need to leave that task unfinished. The good news is that even if you don’t complete a task, you don’t get penalized at work. Your career progression might be a bit slower, but that’s about it.

When you come back to work on the second day, you should be able to restock shelves as per normal. It’s a strange bug, but you just need to make it through the first day, and everything should work fine after that.

It’s also possible that your Zoi might do it automatically once a customer clears a shelf on their own. This takes a bit of luck and is reliant on RNG, of course, but if a customer comes in and grabs something off a shelf, there’s a good chance that your Zoi will walk over and restock it automatically if they’re not occupied with other tasks. After doing it automatically, you should be able to restock whenever you want.

It’s annoying having to work around bugs like this, but at least there aren’t any lasting consequences for not being able to complete the task, and you’ll still have other tasks to do in the meantime.
