You can produce Huge Nutrifruits in Probably Stolen by growing their seeds in a Hydroponic System featuring a bottle of Pure Water infused with a couple of Hydroponic Nutrient Tablets. Just keep in mind that the Pure Water label is only given to containers featuring 99.9% purity.
The Hydroponic System can be acquired via the Retired Farmer Favor (250 Credits), which also gives you two sets of Nutrifruit Seeds and Tablets. It’s also possible to start a run with all the base Hydroponic resources by picking the Hydroponic Farmer specialization.
Upon unlocking the system in any way, an NPC will also begin stopping by your store weekly, offering both extra machinery and a source for both Nutrifruit Seeds and Tablets. The seeds will be pricey and cost around 350 Credits per pack.

How to produce Pure Water in Probably Stolen
As High Quality is the highest tier of water NPCs will offer in Probably Stolen, you will need to go on a little detour to get the Pure Water needed to cultivate the Huge Nutrifruits. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it:
- Acquire a Water Purifier (288 Credits)
- Equip modules to the machine until its Quality stat goes beyond +100%. Each percentile will boost the maximum quality of the end product, with all purifiers starting with a set Max Purity rating.
- Place a filled water container inside the purifier; the grade here does not matter, although it will dictate how long the purification will take. For example, the mentioned High Quality bottles can be upgraded into Pure Water in a single night.
- Check the water for impurities.
- Remove the container from the machine once a +99.9% rating is reached.
To speed up the process, you can also use the Water Merchant specialization. It allows you to start a run with easy access to all water-related resources, including the AquaScan used for both unlimited water testing and relabeling bottles on the fly.
