- First, you need to get your hands on some potent sulfur. This block spawns in Sulfur Caves, particularly around Sulfur Springs. Make sure you’re using potent sulfur, not regular sulfur, if you want to make a geyser.
- Next, you’ll need some water. You can either create the geyser in an existing body of water, or use a bucket to place some down. Either option works.
- Finally, you need to choose either a magma block or some lava. Magma blocks are commonly found underwater throughout the overworld, near Sulfur Springs in the Sulfur Caves biome, inside Trial Chambers, and around the Nether. Lava spawns randomly around the overworld and Nether regions.
- Once you’ve got all the supplies, you can get to work making a geyser. To start, place either your magma block or lava on the lowest level. Then, stack your potent sulfur right on top of it. Finally, finish by placing water on top, or if you’re using an existing body of water, submerging both other levels in water.
