Those participating in the Shinigami pathway must decide on a division to progress further in the ranks. But if you’re here, you’re probably wondering: How do you join a division in Type Soul? Here’s what you need to do to start on this new adventure.
How do you join a division in Type Soul?
To join a division in Roblox’s Type Soul, speak to a captain near the headquarters. You’ll choose between 13 groups, but Division 1 seems to be the only inaccessible rank. More specifically, when asking to join this ensemble, the captain will immediately refuse your proposal.
Once you’ve been accepted into a division in Type Soul, explore around the headquarters to discover new objectives. Missions and Division Duties boards should be posted within the corresponding headquarters.
Each division offers various tasks depending on which one you join. For example, the 7th Division tasks mandate an exploration mission around Soul Society. Players can also place themselves in the Missions queue to set off another adventure.
It doesn’t necessarily matter which group to choose from, but the 12th Division seems to be the easiest for beginners. Additionally, the 5th Division can be an excellent faction for XP farming.
Where to find divisions in Type Soul
You can find divisions by pressing the comma (,) button on your device, providing icons of their locations on the screen. Unfortunately, Type Soul does not feature a map of set locations, so this method is the only way to pinpoint them. The waypoints direct you to the division’s captain to make the process much easier.
As a Trainee Shinigami, you’ll initially start at Soul Society, where there will be several factions to join. Follow any of the waypoints to discover a captain, then ask them to be a recruit.
How to leave a division in Type Soul
To leave a division in Type Soul, you must talk to the NPC Khaotxc near the 2nd Division location (flower icon). Look for a large entryway by some trees.
Go toward the entrance, and Khaotxc should be stationed over there. Talk to them and ask them to leave your current division.
Once you leave your division, you’ll be free to join another one of your choice. Repeat the process of speaking to a captain again in order to begin with the next faction.
