There are many kinds of unique ingredients you’re tasked with tracking down in Star Path events in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Oftentimes, though, the items you need to find are disguised by vague hints, as is the case with the harvest an energetic bean mission.

Instead of telling you precisely what you need to find, Star Path duties are typically designed to challenge you and put your game knowledge to the test. This can make working through them rather tricky, but checking off every single quest featured in these events is crucial if you want to earn all rewards. If this task has you stumped, here’s how to harvest an energetic bean in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

What is an energetic bean in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Coffee bean bushes in Disney Dreamlight Valley

For the Pop City Star Path event in DDV, an energetic bean means Coffee Beans. Coffee Beans can be made into Coffee, which is known for giving you energy, thus making Coffee Beans energetic as the hint says. They can be harvested from three Coffee Bean bushes found in the valley after unlocking Stitch and completing his level four quest, which is called Very Sleepy Stitch.

Each Coffee Bean bush grants three Coffee Beans. Once harvested, it then takes 40 minutes for more Coffee Beans to spawn. The bushes initially start off in the Glade of Trust region, but can be freely moved anywhere around the main Dreamlight Valley region. If you forgot where you put them, find Coffee Beans under the Collection menu and head to the biome listed underneath them, which syncs with wherever you move the bushes to.

To finish the harvest an energetic bean duty for the Pop City Star Path event, you need to harvest a total of 50 Coffee Beans. There are only nine Coffee Beans available across all three bushes combined, so it’ll take you quite a few collection runs over the course of a couple of hours to gather the required amount.

When working on this mission, be sure to bring along a foraging Companion, or instead any villager who has the best friend glow activated, plus two foraging critter Companions. These helpful allies will sometimes find extra Coffee Beans when you harvest them. The bonus items they find won’t count for the Star Path duty, but since you’ll be gathering this ingredient either way, you might as well stock up on extra to sell, cook with, gift, or otherwise use.

Completing this quest only gets you 15 Tokens to spend in the event. It’s a fairly small prize, so you’ll likely want to prioritize working through some additional tasks to earn enough Tokens to spend on rewards. Some other missions to consider tackling next are Picture This: Neon CD Demo Playerhanging out with a glitchy villager, finding a demolition expert, and Take Photo: Neon Koi Lantern.
