How to get Voruna in Warframe

Hungry like the wolf.

While acquiring all sorts of new weapons, pets, and other equipment in Warframe is an upgrade, getting new frames is the most exciting. New weapons can give you new ways to defeat your enemies, but it’s hard to beat a new move set and playstyle to toy around with. I’m thoroughly enjoying toying around with Dagath and finding great ways to use her stampede of horses to destroy crowds. Other frames can be fun too, however. Here’s how to get Voruna in Warframe.

Where to get Voruna’s parts in Warframe

Voruna’s blueprints are acquired from the Yuvarium and Circulus missions on Lua, more specifically from Rotation C of the Conjunction Survival game type. Conjunction Survival works similar to regular Survival, only with Thrax soldiers spawning every five minutes that drain life support until defeated. If you survive 20 minutes, you receive a Rotation C reward and a chance at acquiring a Voruna main or component blueprint. The chances of getting each part are as follows:

  • Yuvarium
    • Voruna Blueprint – 6.82%
    • Voruna Systems Blueprint – 4.55%
    • Voruna Chassis Blueprint – 4.55%
    • Voruna Neuroptics Blueprint – 4.55%
  • Circulus
    • Voruna Blueprint – 12.24%
    • Voruna Systems Blueprint – 8.16%
    • Voruna Chassis Blueprint – 8.16%
    • Voruna Neuroptics Blueprint – 8.16%

As you can tell, running Circulus over Yuvarium is your best bet for getting Voruna’s parts. It is a harder mission than Yuvarium, but if you have some buddies or random players to join, it shouldn’t be a challenge. I like running Saryn on the mission since the enemy density means her poison can spread to many targets, dealing insane damage across a massive area. Use whatever you feel is best.

If you’re having trouble getting RNG on your side, head to the Zariman (requires the Angels of the Zariman quest to be completed) and drop into the Chrysalith node. Head to the other side of the central room and speak to Archimedean Yonta. When speaking with her, select the “Trade in Lua Thrax Plasm” dialogue option and you can purchase any of Voruna’s blueprints. To get the Lua Thrax Plasm needed to purchase these blueprints, simply complete rotations of either Conjunction Survival mission (around 5 minutes).

All Voruna parts in Warframe

Once you have all of Voruna’s parts, you need the following materials to begin crafting her:

  • Voruna Systems
    • 5x Nitain Extract
    • 30x Voidgel Orb
    • 5,000x Salvage
    • 25x Lua Thrax Plasm
  • Voruna Chassis
    • 20x Voidgel Orb
    • 1,000x Ferrite
    • 300x Rubedo
    • 25x Lua Thrax Plasm
  • Voruna Neuroptics
    • 20x Somatic Fibers
    • 2,500x Alloy Plate
    • 800x Polymer Bundle
    • 25x Lua Thrax Plasm

Once you have enough for each part and start building them, wait 12 hours for them to finish, claim all three parts, and then begin building Voruna. You need 50 Lua Thrax Plasm for her main blueprint alongside each part, so you may need to farm Conjunction Survival some more to have enough. After waiting 72 hours for her main blueprint to finish, you’ll be ready to claim and play Voruna.

Is Voruna worth getting?

Voruna is a melee DPS/tank frame whose abilities center around applying Status Effects to your target and upping your damage output through those Status Effects. Through both her pet wolf and the ability to turn into a wolf herself, she runs around the arena slashing at any unsuspecting foe with deadly efficiency. She’s considered fairly strong in the community, albeit with some drawbacks that prevent from being the best of the best. She could make a solid frame to add to your arsenal, and even if not, she’s a good bit of Mastery once you reach Rank 30 with her.
